The District 8 Executive Committee is comprised of the President, Vice President, Immediate Past President, Secretary/Treasurer, Professional Development Chairman, Advocacy Chairman, SMTE Chairman, and Public Relationships Chairman.
In addition to the Executive Officers, our District 8 Board also includes Festival Coordinators from each level of Festival, District 8 Librarian, Professional Development Representatives from various Middle School and Elementary levels, our County Representatives, and our Retired Teacher Coordinator.
Our Executive Board oversees the operations of PMEA District 8. Each member has a distinctive role to assure that the various aspects of our association work effectively and efficiently. The Executive Committee is responsible for new initiatives for our district that promote the Mission of our organization.
Unless otherwise noted, the full District 8 Executive Board meets quarterly at the Watson Inn in Watsontown, PA at 2:00 pm.
